The financial subsidy for the month of October 2020 amounting to P500 was distributed to Grade 7 students last May 3, 2021. The parents or guardians received the cash, on behalf of their children as compliant to the health protocols prohibiting the latter to go out.

It should be recalled that a City Ordinance (No. 18-33) known as “An Ordinance Granting Financial Subsidy to Grade 7 to Grade 12 Students Studying Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of the City of Parañaque” was approved in 2018. The said benefactors will receive an annual allowance of P5000.

Roughly 80% of the total Grade 7 enrollees already got their financial subsidy allocated for the said month. The grant for the months of November and December 2020 is being readied for release in cash form as well, since the ATM cards of the students are still under process, managed by Union Bank.

For those who were not able to get their allowance, the parents or guardians may go directly to the City Treasury Office during office hours with the following documents:

• Letter of Authorization signed by the student
• Photocopy of the student’s ID
• Photocopy of the parent’s or guardian’s ID

Earlier this month, the financial subsidy amounting to P1000 was deposited to the DBP accounts of the students in the higher grade levels.
